Almost Spring Break!

I'm back, twice in a month! haha.

Anyway, just wanted to leave a quick update I guess. Not that anything new is happening in my life.

Side note: I HATE group projects with a PASSION. There is ALWAYS that one jerk who doesn't show up to meetings and never does anything. And then the rest of us need to quickly catch up the night before the presentation is due. Awesome.

Anyway, the good news is, I only have 4 more days of class until spring break, when I will be able to catch up on some things around the house and some homework, and my boss will be on vacation so I can catch up on work too! I am looking forward to next week so much.

There are only 62 days until I graduate! I'm so excited! Hopefully I can find myself a job after that. :) It would be REALLY awesome if Espec would hire me...since they are hiring another accountant by the end of the year...

Let's hope so.

Also, another good thing is we finished our Dance on Sunday, so now we have 4 weeks after SB to clean it before the show! Which is awesome. Hopefully the choreographer for my Wednesday dance shows up this week, so we can make some progress on that one...

I guess that's all I have to say for now!

Hope all is well for everyone else. :)

Countdowns

Okay so, I have definitely been slacking on this thing. Again. Sorry. :/

Anyway, here are a few countdowns for things I am looking forward to:

Spring Break: 15 Days. (I get to work full time...yay.)
GRADUTATION!!: 73 Days!
End of the semester: 77 Days.
End of Spring Semester: 124 Days.
End of Summer Semester, aka end of school FOREVER. (Unless I decide on a Master's, which won't happen for at least a year.): 190 Days.

So...only 190 days until this chapter of my life is over.

I am told that I will miss it, and I'm sure I will miss part of it.

However, last week I had 5 exams (one in each class), worked my normal hours, in addition to picking up 6 extra hours to help the accounting department (that makes 27 hours), I started volunteering on Wednesdays at the Hispanic Center, and I had dance practice for a new dance that I joined.

I am ready for THAT kind of week to be over. I am not sure how I survived last week, while still getting a decent amount of sleep (about 5 hours per night).

So. Like I said, I've been picking up hours to help the Accounting department. I've been doing some accounts payable and receivable. I enjoy it a lot! So that's a good sign. Espec wants to hire another accountant by the end of the year...so I'm sincerely hoping it's me! That would be really nice. We'll see!

Off to Class!

Film Photos

So I bought the film and batteries for that camera...

Why is film still so expensive when film cameras are practically extinct? UGH.

Anyway, I bought 4 rolls of film and two batteries. We'll see where that takes me.

An another note, school is getting insanely frustrating. I'm at the point in the semester where everything is due at once and it's incredibly annoying. So I think tonight I'm going to spend some time doing homework when I get home, and then perhaps take some sunset pics with the infamous camera.

:)

Hopefully pics to come in the future!!

New Project

So in the cupboard, my dad has this old camera. Apparently he bought it while he was in the Navy, which was in the early 80's.

It has a few lenses, including a zoom lens and a star lens filter.

I need to buy a new battery and some film, obviously.

But I am going to start kind of a photo diary I guess, and try to get creative with this awesome film camera.

Because let's just be honest, film kicks the crap out of digital photography. There is so much you can do with negatives and with various shots with a film camera...even though I do love editing digital photos. Playing with editing programs could keep me busy for days on end.

I'm so excited for this new adventure though.

My inspiration:

Stay tuned for some pics!! :) I'm hoping to pick up film and stuff this week!

Sigh.

Sometimes it's really hard to stay motivated.
